Thanks for a great website! My tip is to visit lots of tack sales. I like to show up near the end of the sale when sellers are ready to bargain! They would usually rather sell an item for a lower price than have to load it back into their truck. I've gotten some awesome deals on tack this way. It helps if you make a list of what items you are looking for with sizes and measurements included.
