Great tips from Sunny:

I have a million money saving tips, here are a few.
Copper bits become tarnished quickly. Putting ketchup on the copper parts will make it shine like new again.
Cinnamon toothpaste is also a good bit cleaner.

Cheap black liquid shoe polish makes a cheap and easy to apply hoof blackener (I asked several farriers and my vet about it and so long as it's not applied for a long period of time like every day its perfectly ok) no mess and usually $1-3 a bottle.

This boxing day I went to wal-mart and got christmas tree stands for $2.50 each. I got a few 4X4's and drilled holes for jump cups. I now have a whole fleet of jumps for a fraction of the cost of making normal standards. They stand up well to weather and you can decorate or paint them any way you want. By far the best money saver I have got this year.

Baby wipes (unscented) are a good way to wipe up you and your horse at the barn. They are relatively cheap and work wonders for getting the dust off tack and your horse before a class at a show.
