As I've mentioned before, this time of year can be ideal for those of you who are horse shopping. The extra expense of feeding hay and the lack of nice weather for riding makes prices for horses drop rapidly. Obviously, you need to be certain you are ready to provide a safe home, with plenty to eat, good health care and protection from the elements. If you can provide a good home, there are many wonderful horses out there that need just that.
