I've been spending a lot more time outside with the horses - and getting a lot of mosquito bites in the process! I just read a tip that if you take B vitamins - it works as a natural repellant to keep mosquitoes away. I guess they might still buzz near you, but they aren't interested in taking a bite! It was suggested that you take a multiple B vitamin. If you are planning a trail ride or camping trip you should probably start taking the B vitamins about a week in advance.
I haven't tried it yet and would love to know if anyone has! Does it work or is this just an old wives tale?
