I always have a couple of old box fans out in the horse's stalls to help out during the hot summer months. I usually pick them up at garage sales for less than five dollars. And of course, they usually look pretty beat up.
Never in a million years would it have occured to me to take them apart and paint them! Ann Marie at white house, black shutters showed how she beautified an ugly old fan and actually made it look really nice. As soon as I can figure out what color to paint them, the horse's stalls will be sporting some really nice fans!
