Tropical Traditions ~ Coconut Oil Giveaways!!

I am a big fan of using natural items instead of man made products whenever possible. Which means I love virgin coconut oil! Years ago, one of my horses kept scratching his tail - he was literally rubbing it raw. I tried everything - a new wormer, several different salves, you name it - and nothing seemed to help at all.

On a whim, I took a handful of virgin coconut oil and slathered it all over his tail where he had been rubbing it. You could tell the relief was immediate, he stopped rubbing - and the hair grew back quickly. Now I keep virgin coconut oil on hand at all times!
