If you still have a "fanny pack" stowed away somewhere - dig it out! They come in handy for trail rides - great place for a cell phone, chapstick, sunglasses, snacks and a small bottle of water. Room for an extra lead line in there too.

You can wear one around the barn too if you like to keep horse, dog and cat treats handy.
