A tip from Sydney:

A cheap and safe way to cap t-posts because I know my horses take them off the second I turn my back. We use bicycle tubes. We cut them into the desired length, slide them over the t-post fold the end over a little and use electrical tape to keep the fold down. If you need to pound the post in more just slide it off. Easy, cheap and the horses leave these ones alone.
